Klare 5* von mir. Da muss ich schon einen Unterschied zum grossartigen Debut machen..

Hier gibt es doch gerne mal einen Song, der nicht über 4* rauskommt - unter anderem die arg gewöhnliche Semiballade Crieh in the night"... Für mich die Knaller sind der gnadenlose Opener, eine echte Hymne und wohl mein Lieblingstrack von "WASP"; "Wild child" - fantastisch! Jedoch auch der Titeltrack "The last command" und das kraftvolle "Blind in Texas" schiessen wuchtig und mächtig aus den Boxen, was nicht zuletzt an der Hammerröhre von Vorzeigeprollo Blackie Lawless liegt.

Die Scheibe macht natürlich Spass und ist nicht zu vergleichen mit "ernsthafteren" Produktionen von 1985 oder oberflächlicherem Scheiss wie dem sogenannten "Poserrock" - "WASP" stellen eine eigene Sache dar und sind deswegen nur in ihrer eigenen Kategorie mit sich selber zu messen - und da schneidet "The last command" gegenüber dem Vorgänger einfach etwas schlechter ab! Gute, sympathische 5*!
