I actually thought they had potential to be a good vocal harmony boyband but this as a first offering is boring and quite youth orientated but they'll need to reach a mass audience if they want to stay around. While the beginning reminds me of Grease's Summer Nights, the song isn't too bad. Yes it is slightly more generic then I hoped but at least the voices don;t sound obviously digitally altered. Should be a big hit in the UK where they usually embrace the Busted/McFly sound for their BoyBand. And it does have a positive messae and isn't about picking up a slut in a club while drunk, so that's an extra bonus. Definitely a grower. |

This is a fun summer song, it took me a little while to warm to as I find it hard to get past the immature boy band quality of the artist but once I got past this, I found it to be a solid and enjoyable pop song. Their vocals are average, but they don't pretend that they can sing (like they aren't trynna pull out the big long runs or high notes), and in that way I like it.

Nicht doch, schon wieder eine neue Boyband aus UK. Ich kann schon The Wanted und die JLS kaum auseinanderhalten. Das hier ist eine ganz lausige, komplett belanglose Nummer, die weder mit einer besonderen Melodie, noch mit einer originellen Produktion und erst recht nicht mit guten Vocals punkten kann. Hat man doch alles schon x-fach nach dem selben Raster gehört! Spricht natürlich die britischen Teenie-Girls an, ansonsten überraschen mich die guten Wertungen hier schon sehr - 2* |

Their individual voices are very weak and a little annoying but as a group they sound very nice together. Good track nonetheless and a strong debut that has successfully catapulted them to instant success across the world. There are some messy moments though and it doesn't feel like it flows as smooth as it should be. It's this messiness that also makes it sound overproduced.
