I dunno about this, "What Makes You Beautiful" had a fun sound that translated well, but compared to that, this just seems, forced. All the music behind it feels very studio-produced and it just lacks any real energy because of it. Just OK since I didn't dislike it.

If I can understand anything about this craze, it's that all of their songs seem to sound exactly the same. Derivative, boring and irritating, and a typically unimaginative chorus.

I find that I've gotten very sick of One Direction over the past 10 or so months despite not being bothered at all by them and their success prior. Maybe it's because I enjoyed (and still do enjoy) "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing and also sort of enjoyed "Live While We're Young" but have found their following hits to be of poor quality. Maybe it's because I have finally gotten sick of the massive overexposure and overhype and the fact that imo they are massively overrated. Maybe it's the fact that I had three One Direction stans as friends with one of those being way too defensive about anything even slightly negative that was said about them (for example I remember once I said I didn't like Gotta Be You and they didn't talk to me for a day ::) :P ) and that 10 months ago was when I stopped being friends with that over defensive stan. Maybe it's a combination of all those factors. I just find myself so sick of them and am hoping they take a break for at least two years although that is certainly unlikely to happen.<br><br>Now to the next part of my review. Parts of this exemplify why I am sick of them and why I find some of their songs to be of poor quality. Admittedly I find them to be good singers and I heard this live on TV the other day and they sounded quite good which was surprising. So vocally I (generally) don't have a problem with them but most of their music lacks anything special and that's why I find a fair few of their songs to be average/mediocre.<br><br>The chorus in this really ironic with the use of na na nas. It worked well in "What Makes You Beautiful" but however subsequent songs that use this (eg Kiss You) reek of the same old same old boringness. It's like this should be their personal anthem or something :P<br><br>Strangely though the na na nas are annoyingly catchy and I kind of get a little enjoyment from them which somewhat saves this from a 2. Like I mentioned before the vocals are good however not outstanding. All up it is decent but nothing spectacular
