Sure the sounds are nice and Jay Electronica's contributions are great but far out this goes on and on and on and on. If this was a tight three minutes with just a couple choruses and verses this would easily be a highlight, but for the stretched out mess it ends up being I just can't tolerate it. The spoken word bit thanking Kanye for apparently being so politically thoughtful despite all the recent nonsense is on the nose too, especially when (much like this album) it seems his efforts don't produce any results outside of his own narcissism and self-gratification. 1.5 |
