**** James is able to convey some real passion in his vocals, although this doesn't go to quite the same overwrought level that "Impossible" did in that regard, kind of a shame really. The chorus is quite memorable, with its slower pace for the first few lines; it doesn't feel like something which would be an earworm, however I've found it stuck in my head quite often. The verses also contain some great moments, the "oh but you know the truth, I'd rather hold you" line has a fantastic, catchy melody and expresses the love and longing contained in the song perfectly. This is easily the highlight of his album. |
