Shirley is one of the upcoming Swedish superstars. She has a very nice voice and a classy production team to support her. Both in 2003 and 2004 she entered 'Melodifestivalen', the Swedish Eurovision preselection. Both times she did quite well, but failed to be selected. No harm done, in 2005 she will again participate ... 3rd time lucky, right? Three times lucky also in my personal charts this year as 3 of her hits entered my top 10: 'Min kärlek', 'Eviga längtan' and 'För dem som älsker'. And then there's her new release, a cover of 'Do they know it's Christmas'. O.K., it's not as bad as the Band Aid 20 version. She sings it quite well, because she has a very powerful voice. And it's quite 2004 as well. But ... nothing can top the original, I'm afraid. Every attempt is bound to fail ...
