"Rope", die erste Single, ist genau wie die anderen neuen Songs auf "Wasting Light" in der Garage von Dave Grohl entstanden und aufgenommen worden - live, analog und auf Band. Und das ist genau das Soundgewand, das diese Band braucht. - Ein richtig toller Song!

Foo Fighters vind ik niet altijd even goed, en met dit nummer is het zo dat ik ze dus niet echt fantastisch vind... De muziek is prima, maar het zangwerk is me toch een partij belabberd! Nee hoor, ik pas.

Mag ich auf Anhieb u. bin froh, die Band wieder derartig zu hören. Kann deren Lied "Wheels" nicht mehr hören...wird dauernd bei mir im Fitnesscenter gedudelt.
"Rope" klingt pfiffig u. ich mag diese Gitarren sehr...das kickt ziemlich. Und der Refrain ist super-fließend. |

ik wil altijd helemaal meegaan met dit nummer en op tafels springen en helemaal wild doen. (totdat ik merk dat er ook nog andere mensen in de kamer zitten :P) wat een lekker nummer. @RV natuurlijk is het zangwerk wat minder, het zijn wat oudere rockers, je gaat AC/DC ook niet bekritiseren op hun zangkunsten. bij zulke bands doe je het echt om de gitaren. Rock on!!!

Der Song klingt sehr nach 90er-Jahre-Rock; damals gab es mit Therapy? oder Joykiller Bands die solche Musik gespielt haben, streckenweise klingt es auch ein bisschen nach Faith No More (natürlich ohne deren Schrägheit zu erreichen). Mir gefällt das. Gute 4! |
