heute sehen es viele als erstes solo-album von beyonce, da sie alle 15 tracks entweder mitgeschrieben oder mit produziert hatte.
2 jahre später war sie dann auch solo.. |

the singles on this are fantastic, perhaps the peak of their career - the majority of the rest of the album sound like filler. poor tracks that trudge between dance and 'i'm gonna be strong' beats. perhaps i expected too much from this after the writing's on the wall, but i do feel this was a let down.
HIGHLIGHT: Emotion - an amazing cover, there is a note that Beyonce hits in the final chorus ... it's BREATHTAKING!
LETDOWN: Apple Pie A La Mode - absolute rubbish, aimless piece of junk. |

Eigentlich nicht meine Musik, aber ich muss zugeben: Das Album ist überzeugend! Es hat ein paar schwache, aber auch ein paar wirklich schöne Lieder. "Brown Eyes" zum Beispiel gefällt mir sehr gut. |

Another solid album from Destiny's Child with the singles being the stand-out's once again. A few of the album tracks miss the mark but overall a worthy effort. Stand-out's are Survivor, Bootylicious & Independent Women Part I. 3.52 |
