*****
Funny retro song, memories of George Michael, Robert Palmer, Van Halen etc. in the video.
*****

*****
***
passabel 3++

Cool track.
****
*****
Pretty good actually .

LOOFRunDry's favourite song. There's definitely a memorable pop punk charm to it, though it doesn't really appeal to me. The only reason I ever think about this song is the chorus, and how amusingly bizarre the choice of names dropped are. Although even when it came out, I found it was odd that they mention Nirvana the way they do, since they felt just as ancient to me. Meanwhile a decade later, and U2, Madonna, Blondie & Bruce Springsteen are still putting out new music. No doubt there are plenty of people in the mother's position today, longing for their heyday of rocking out to Nirvana, none of these weird new bands. I find the Simpsons episode "Homerpalooza" particularly amusing to watch 2 decades later for the same reason.
